What will we come up with next!! Can you guess!!,Will it be a St Patty’s, Beer Me I’m Irish, Party with green beer and Leprechauns, maybe a March Madness Party with a Nerf basketball tournament in the Sharks Den on the day of the National Championship game or just maybe a April Fools Day Party with unbelievable beer and house drink specials and a guest appearance by a local band, but will that party be April 1st, 2nd or 3rd? I guess you will will have to come to Sharky’s all three days to find out. Only one thing is definite, we have Angela Causey playing in the Sharks Den this Friday night 2.26.10 for your party night!! There will be drink specials, just ask Rick what they are. As for the rest of the events keep checking back or come to Sharky’s and have some dinner and a drink and get Ray to sit down and give you the locals inside scoop before it is posted here! Ray has went and got Pete Groch to from PA to play for the Blues Blizzard on Saturday Night! He is a acoustic singer/songwriter that will be performing folk, rock and cover songs in the Skarks Den starting at 8:30 PM.  This is a little about Pete off his myspace page so you get to know him better:

My passion for music seemed to intensify during the year that I spent working with the mentally ill homeless in San Diego, CA. A friend of mine, Rob Porro, and I would routinely play guitar and surf to take the edge off of our everyday stresses. We would jam to different cover songs as well as create our own rhythms and rhymes. After returning to Philly in September of 2004, I recorded my first set of songs which was called “Reflections”. Soon enough, I began to play cover songs at bars and eventually did gigs with drummer Bud Conway and upright bassist Phil D’Agostino. In January of 2007, I left Philadelphia for the Hawaiian Islands. My time in the islands was, without a doubt, worth the while and gave me new inspiration for playing music. I worked as a line cook to pay the bills and barely made it by. After 11 months in Hawaii, I had to return to the “mainland” due to a broken foot from playing in a barefoot soccer game. Re-adjusting to Philly’s speedy pace has been a challenge but has also driven me to pursue song-writing. I have finished my second set of songs, “No-Frills”, and I continue to play covers at some local bars.

Thinking of summer and the cold has left you Blue with nothing to do? Come join Jake and Elwood Blues(Rick and Ray) at Sharky’s as we crank the heat up to 90, serve up the frozen margaritas and have a Blues Beach Blizzard here at Sharky’s on February 20th!!! The party will be starting at 8 PM so get here early to have some dinner, then stay late as Crystal, Alisha and Nate serve up your favorite frozen drinks and cocktails!!

There will be live entrainment and also a karaoke machine for those who want to be a rock star. Sharky’s will be having it’s first ever Forest Gump ping-pong tournament. There will be a $2 entry fee with a winner take all format which will include the prestigious Gump Adward for the best Sharks Den ping-pong player!

So come out and party at the locals hot spot on Sat. Feb. 20 @ 8 and play some pong, pinball, try your voice at karaoke or just cure that cabin fever and hang with your friends and enjoy the live entertainment! Come and get your FIN ON!!!!
