Well, not really new but updated!! Rays quest to bring you the best restaurant in Ocean Isle has us all scrambling. We are sharpening the teeth, cleaning the gills and scrubbing her down all to bring you the best spot in town. Wait till you see her! It’s exciting!

Ray has traveled all over the Florida Keys, Puerto Rico, Caribbean Islands and the Gulf coast consulting with the best chefs in the most popular spots getting recipes and is also getting advice from the locals on these ideas to see what they like. Did he talk to Lucy? I guess we will never know for sure. Knox has been playing 20 questions with all the surfers on the pro tour to see what they would like to see on a menu. Alexander and Nellie have been with big brother Knox traveling the coast following the waves and getting ideas on what all the up and coming grommets like to eat. As we all know, if the kids are happy so are the parents! But, hey, there is something for everyone to smile about at Sharkys!! Sarah has had countless meetings with our wine rep., Sunni, to create a new wine menu with the hottest trends and all timeless classics that you all big kids will love. Don’t worry all of your favorites will still be on the menu just upgraded, can you say Angus Beef? Oops! Did not mean to give that away. You will just have to keep checking our menu section until it it finalized. And if is not on our menu just ask, if we can make it, you can have it!!

We are also going to get to Coke products. If you ask for it, we will get it, and there have been a lot of requests for Coke over the past few years so we are getting Coke. Talking about requests there have been a lot of you that have requested a full menu on the back deck at night. Guess what? Ray has listened and is making it happen!! So the new umbrellas that we got last summer are getting some new partners in crime. The deck will be power washed, a fresh coat of paint, brand new chairs and a FULL menu will be served ALL DAY and ALL NIGHT LONG!!! You wanted it, you got it!! Just thank Ray!!!!

The new T-Shirts will be in this week!! I will have pics of them up as soon as they get here. Everyone has been asking when we will be getting more and I am sure we will be sold out of them soon so get your order in ASAP!! We just ask that you pay the shipping, usually around $5.00.

WOW!!! All this in little old OIB!!! We have the atmosphere! We have the down home service that makes you feel like family, and you are! We have a owner/friend that will make it right for you! We will now have the food and menu that will make everyone north of Key West and Key West jealous! Why would you want to go anywhere else??? These are the things that a parrot head sings about and why he gives us shout outs at his concerts.  Has a song about us been done?  It’s for you to decide!!

In true Sharkys fashion we will be running specials from Fri. Feb. 11 thru Mon. Feb. 14 in honor of Saint Valentine’s Day. We will be having live music all weekend long. The music schedule is as follows:

Entree:

Sharkys Famous Slow Roasted Prime Rib – 10 oz. hand carved cut of slow roasted prime rib cooked to perfection served with au-jus, fresh blanched asparagus and homemade garlic mashed potatoes
